Who we are

AIVideoCaption (aivideocaption.com) is an online tool that creates timed, styled captions for videos. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions: rushirathod943@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account details. Your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Your content. Videos you upload, their audio, the transcript, your caption edits, styles, keywords and any fonts you upload.

Plan requests. When you ask to buy a plan, we collect your name, phone number, email and the plan you chose, so we can contact you.

Usage and security records. Processing jobs, transcription minutes used, exports, and basic technical data such as your IP address, which we keep only as a one-way hash to prevent spam.

How we use it

To sign you in, create and time your captions, save your projects, export your videos, contact you about a plan you requested, provide support, keep the service secure, and meet legal and accounting duties. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your videos to train AI models.

Services we rely on

Sarvam AI converts your video's audio into text, and processes the transcript text to pick keywords and spell words for timing. Google provides optional sign-in and the web fonts on our pages. An email provider delivers sign-in codes and notices. Our hosting provider stores and runs the service. Each receives only what it needs for that job. Word timing and video rendering run on our own servers.

Payments

We do not take card details on this website. After you request a plan, we contact you and you pay through a method we agree on, such as UPI, a bank transfer or a payment link from a regulated provider. We keep a record of the payment reference, amount and date for accounting and tax purposes.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie (10 minutes) that protects Google sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

How long we keep it

Your projects and files stay in your account until you delete them. Deleting a project removes its files. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account and content within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records. Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Security

Access to your projects is limited to your signed-in account. Sign-in sessions are stored as secure, hashed tokens, and connections use HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent, and you can raise a grievance. Email rushirathod943@gmail.com from your account email. We reply within 7 days and resolve requests within 30 days.

Children

AIVideoCaption is meant for people aged 18 and over. Younger users may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

If we make an important change, we will update this page and the date above, and tell signed-in users by email or in the app.
