01 / The starting point
From spoken Italian to an editable subtitle draft
Upload a video spoken in Italian and select Italian as its language. AIVideoCaption creates a timed transcript you can correct before exporting a styled MP4 or separate SRT file.
A quick recipe, a travel explanation and a long interview each need a different reading pace. The draft saves you from starting with a blank timeline. Listen once with the picture before deciding where a caption should begin or end. This tool transcribes the Italian being spoken; it does not translate another language into Italian.
02 / Italian proof pass
Listen for the tiny marks that change the line
Automatic text can sound right while looking wrong. Check accents such as è and perché, apostrophes in phrases such as l’idea, and the exact spelling of people, places and products. Keep the speaker’s phrasing instead of rewriting it into a different voice.
E una buona idea, davvero.
È una buona idea, davvero.
For the difference between accents and apostrophes in Italian writing, see the Treccani guide to accents and its apostrophe reference.
03 / Read it at the speaker’s pace
Break at a thought, not halfway through it
On a phone, a short caption is easier to catch than a dense paragraph. Read each cue aloud with the video. If an article or a short phrase gets stranded on the next line, adjust the grouping and watch it again. Leave enough time for the complete idea to register.
una ricetta semplice.
For an energetic short clip, choose a style that helps the key phrase stand out without hiding the food, person or product. The Reels caption guide covers placement in a vertical frame.
