01 / The starting point

From Russian speech to timed captions

Upload a Russian-language video and select Russian. AIVideoCaption produces editable Cyrillic text with timing, then lets you export the reviewed result as MP4 or SRT.

This is useful for a creator posting a short explanation, a product demo or a YouTube lesson. It is transcription of the speech in the video, not translation from English or another language.

02 / Script and readability

Check the Cyrillic text on the final-sized frame

The text should be readable where the viewer will see it, not only in a wide desktop editor. Play a short section on a phone-sized preview and look for crowded lines, low contrast and captions that cover an important part of the video.

ILLUSTRATIVE CAPTION

простой способ.

Preview the actual Cyrillic lettering before export.

If you edit a word, replay that point to make sure its timing still follows the voice. For a restrained talking-head video, a clean bar may be easier to read than constant motion.

03 / Final text pass

Names, places and product terms need a human eye

Automatic speech recognition may choose a common-looking word when it hears an unfamiliar name. Compare those words with your script or source notes. Check numbers too: one wrong digit in a price, date or measurement can change the meaning of a clip.

  1. Replay unfamiliar names

Use the spelling the person or brand actually uses.

  2. Read every number

Confirm dates, prices and quantities against the audio.

  3. Watch one export

Check the rendered Cyrillic text and its position before publishing.

04 / Delivery

A fixed caption or a switchable subtitle track?

Use MP4 when the Russian captions should always appear in the video. Use SRT when the destination accepts a separate subtitle track. The YouTube guide explains the track workflow; the SRT guide explains the file itself.

Check the current plan. The pricing page lists current export limits and watermark rules.
