Korean captions that keep the spoken rhythm

An accurate Korean draft still needs a readable pace. Listen to the sentence, tidy the spacing and names, then preview each cue in the frame where your audience will watch.

01 / Start with the recording

From spoken Korean to a timed caption draft

Upload a Korean-language video and select Korean. AIVideoCaption transcribes the speech into editable Hangul text with timing, then offers an SRT subtitle file or a captioned MP4.

This is a useful starting point for a lesson, a product explanation or a Short. It is still a draft: overlapping speakers, an unfamiliar surname or a quiet ending deserve a second listen. The workflow does not translate another language into Korean.

02 / Text review

Read the whole Hangul phrase

Korean normally uses spaces, but a cue can still split an idea in an awkward place. Check spacing, particles, names and loanwords against the voice. Keep on-screen product labels consistent with the video. If a term is borrowed from English, do not silently rewrite the speaker’s choice.

Illustrative phrase split. Watch the complete cue to decide whether the break feels natural.

The W3C overview of Korean line breaking notes that space-based and syllable-based wrapping are both possible. Your last decision should come from the actual video and reading pace.

03 / Vertical video

Give the viewer time to finish the line

For a talking-head Short, keep captions clear of the face and the platform interface. A highlighted phrase can help a quick point land, but constant motion competes with a longer explanation. Preview at phone size with the sound on, then watch once muted to see whether the meaning still comes through.
