01 / Generate the draft
Select Turkish for Turkish speech
Upload a video spoken in Turkish, choose Turkish and review the timed transcript. AIVideoCaption lets you edit the text before exporting a captioned MP4 or a separate SRT subtitle file.
Transcription is not translation. If the source voice is in English, choosing Turkish will not create a Turkish translation. The right source language and a clean recording give you a more useful draft to review.
02 / Detail pass
Look twice at İ, I, ı and i
Turkish uses dotted and dotless forms of I, alongside letters such as ç, ğ, ö, ş and ü. A fast transcript may confuse a name, place or ordinary word even when the timing feels right. Keep a short spelling list for repeated terms and compare it with the video’s title cards.
Istanbul
İstanbul
For a branded clip, verify the logo or product label as carefully as the spoken line. Do not change what the speaker said just to make a subtitle shorter.
03 / Teaching clip
Let each instruction land before the next one
In a how-to video, viewers are watching the action and reading the caption at the same time. Keep the subtitle away from a button or object being demonstrated. If the sentence runs long, adjust cue grouping around the spoken pause and replay it on a phone-sized preview.
- Match on-screen terms
Use the same spelling the viewer sees in the interface.
- Check numbers
Confirm prices, dates and steps by ear.
- Leave visual space
A restrained caption style works well for instruction.
04 / Delivery
Choose a clip or a switchable track
An MP4 keeps the styled subtitles visible in the video. An SRT keeps text and timing separate for platforms and editors that accept subtitle tracks. The YouTube guide explains when a separate track helps; pricing lists current export limits.
